Our online multimedia Electromagnetic Inspection Testing / Magnetic Flux Leakage - Level I & II, training is designed to fulfill the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP -189, NAS 410 and other equivalent standards and customer specific written practice for training and certification of NDE personnel. In this method, you will get in-depth knowledge of Electromagnetic Inspection principles, equipment, and application of electromagnetic inspection techniques to test various product forms. This course will give you 24 hours of credit for your certification in this method
During this course training, you will give examination in General theory and Specification. You are required to successfully pass these examinations with minimum of 70% grading. To meet complete training requirement of ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2006 or NAS 410, you are required to have practical training and examination too, which you can schedule with us after successful completion of this course. Your average grading of all three examinations should be 80% minimum.
This method uses electromagnetic leakage field which is generated in a conductive material by an induced electromagnetic field. Surface or near-surface discontinuities distort electromagnetic leakage field and captured by sensing equipment. Interruptions in the flow of electromagnetic field, caused by imperfections, dimensional changes, or changes in the material\'s conductive and permeability properties, can be detected with the proper sensing equipment like Hall Effect Probe, Inductive coil sensors or by Flux-gate magnetometer.
